Thesis - 3D EMC Wiring harness simulation (Dept.: DEE)

Your Responsibilities

Simulation, analysis and optimization of wiring harness with FEM simulation software. (Electric/ Magnetic field, voltage drops, temperature, current density analysis)

* Investigation of different coupling paths between cables
* Setup of a model of the low voltage system with all relevant components
* Running the simulation with different parameters of the relevant system components
* Documentation and interpretation of the results of the different simulation runs
* Compare the simulation results with available measurements of the existing system
* All findings will be documented into a workflow and processes.

Your Profile

* Ongoing studies in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
* Basic knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, CST Studio, LTspice)
* Knowledge in electro-technics and electronic circuits
* Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills
* Demanding tasks and opportunity to working independently
* Goal-oriented working style
* Good language skills in English necessary and in German beneficial
