How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

* As a Packaging Procurement Specialist you will support in the definition, implementation and optimization of global Packaging procurement
* You are responsible for handling Packaging related commercial activities including research, preparation and follow-up of Packaging negotiations, as well as obtaining prices and checking quotation
* Moreover you fuction as the contact person for developing existing and building new supplier relationships
* You are working closely with international and national departments (Buying Category Management, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Responsibility, Quality Assurance)
* Supplier evaluation, packaging database management, as well as pro-active and independent research to expand the supplier base are part of your tasks
* You are excited by the task of collaborating with international packaging suppliers across multiple product categories for all ALDI SUED countries worldwide
* Additionally you are investigating and documenting existing Packaging related business projects and processes

Your Profile

The requirements for the role include:

* As a Packaging Procurement Specialist you have completed studies with focus on Business, Packaging or similar
* You possess professional experience in international Buying Departments, inital experience in Packaging is considered a plus
* Having a strong understanding of the supply chain and production process is appealing to you
* You feel confident in using MS Office, ideally you are also familiar with SAP systems
* You possess business-fluent English skills
* Good communication and negotiation skills are desirable
* Beyond that ou have excellent teamwork skills and are excited to work in a multi-cultural environment

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from EUR 52.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
