In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar(tm) (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

Our business

You will get insight in

* Supporting the HSSE Department on all relevant activities in the field of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (e.g. trainings, initiatives, performance measurement, reporting, emission management).
* Supporting the preparation of HSSE presentations, training materials, safety alerts, lessons learned and similar for further use by management & employees.
* Conducting site visits to OMV facilities and promoting safe work practices and behaviours.
* Updating MS Office material (e.g. to meet Corporate Design requirements).
* Analysis of training reports (normally based on Excel, creation of Pivot tables, charts, etc.).
* Analysis of feedback reports from trainings and HSSE initiatives (content analysis).
* Internet researching with appropriate processing and presentation.

What we are looking for

* You are a student of: Security and Safety Management, industrial engineering, natural resources and life sciences, HSSE and/or Sustainability Management, Corporate Communications, Risk Management, Educational Sciences, or similar.
* You are an analytical and creative individual.
* Microsoft Office is a walk in the park for you.
* You are highly collaborative and team-oriented.
* You hold a valid work permit for Austria.
* You are fluent in German and have good command of English.
