As a Game Mathematician at IGT Austria, you'll be at the forefront of creating pioneering mathematic models that power our globally recognized games. You'll collaborate with a team of brilliant minds, blending your mathematics expertise with programming skills to develop and optimize the math that forms the backbone of our gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Help with the mathematical models for new games, ensuring fairness and excitement for players
* Calculate the probabilities of winning combinations to ensure accurate and balanced game outcomes
* Collaborate with game designers to balance game mechanics and payouts
* Take responsibility for programming and testing the mathematical part of our software source code
* Analyze game performance and adjust mathematical documentation for technical approval
* Conduct simulations and statistical analyses to validate concepts
* Act as internal contact person for requests concerning mathematical concepts
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in gaming mathematics

Your Qualifications:

* University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Telematics or a related field
* Good know-how in statistics and probability calculations
* Experience in the area of mathematics, statistics, software engineering or similar is beneficial
* Basic programming skills e.g. Python or VBA
* Detail-oriented team player with a proactive, analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
* An Out-of-the-box thinker who is also well-structured and organized in their approach
* Proficient spoken and written English
* Understanding of collaborations in an agile environment with SCRUM processes are appreciated

Remuneration:

According to Austrian law we are obligated to list the minimum salary for this position. The minimum salary starts at EUR51.314,34 gross per year, however actual compensation is negotiable and will be based on your qualification and experience
