System Integration Engineer (f/m/div*)

Kapsch TrafficCom develops smart solutions to make mobility safer, more sustainable and efficient for everybody. We design, build and operate traffic management systems including connected vehicles technology and mobility demand management as well as tolling services for cities, roads, tunnels and bridges around the world. We develop data and video analytics platforms, building on state-of-the-art technologies including AI, machine learning, big data and cloud services to enable the digitalization of mobility.

Your Responsibilities:

* Design, develop and implement integration solutions for IT process automation and data synchronization, primarily for internal use and occasionally with customers and partners.
* Collaborate with enterprise architecture team, key users from various internal departments, technology & platforms teams to understand integration requirements and ensure optimal solutions.
* Ensure seamless operation and maintenance of existing integrations.
* Customize and configure tools to meet operational needs.
* Deployment of Observability Tools like Loki, Promtail, Grafana
* Perform system integration testing to identify and resolve issues.
* Document integration processes, protocols, and mappings.
* Monitor and analyze system performance to proactively address potential issues.
* Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in system integration and related technologies.
* Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Your Profile:

* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Proven experience in integration development, experience with with Snaplogic would be an advantage.
* Proficiency in CI/CD processes, especially with Gitlab and Kubernetes (AKS).
* Familiarity with observability tools such as Loki, Promtail, and Grafana would be a benefit.
* Experience with Jira Service Management for automation and user management would be an advantage.
* Strong understanding of IT process automation and data synchronization.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills in English, German or Spanish would be a benefit.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
