We are seeking a project manager to align our operational optimization efforts with our overall growth strategy

Project Manager Operations (m/w/d)

In your role you will join the operations team of Komptech, reporting directly to the companies Chief Operations Officer with significant exposure to all other members of the C-Suite.

Deine Aufgaben

* You will be in charge of leading the manufacturing network optimization team, ensuring flawless delivery of any network optimization tasks
* You will connect optimization activities of different plants and keep overall transparency on capacities and investment decisions
* You will be overseeing and driving any changes in the manufacturing network (E.g., relocation of production lines)
* You will be running the transformation control room, regularly reporting progress to Komptech and Orasis top management
* You will be in charge of developing various strategic operations work-packages (e.g. strategy development, strategy operationalization, corporate development initiatives)
* You will support the day-to-day business operations of the COO and engage with the group's management stakeholder
* You will conduct impactful analysis to further strengthen transparency on topics like profitability, performance or investments
* You will prepare top-management presentations and decision papers for board meetings
* You independently enhance our forward-looking project planning, structure work packages and ensure the achievement of objectives

* You will take on ad-hoc coordination activities for the management and ensure the flow of communication as well as implementation

Dein Profil

* Completed master or PhD in engineering or production sciences
* 3-4 years track record of developing, executing and leading operations improvement projects in LVHC (Low-volume high complexity) machinery industry

* Distinctive experience in layout planning and manufacturing network design
* Proven track record in solving complex strategic production problems
* Ability to connect well with different stakeholder groups and ability to coordinate tasks across a large variety of project team members

* Ability to perform well in high-pressure environments
* Proven track record of excellence in both university and first professional experience
* Strong analytical skills
* Experience in preparing top-management presentations & communications

* Advanced written & spoken communication skills (English & German)
* You are highly intrinsically motivated and ready to develop your skillset even further
* You are looking for diverse challenges and can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
* You have great organizational skills and are good at structuring complex and extensive
