Regional Project Controller (m/w/d)

Do you excel at coordinating projects? Are you interested in financial control and enjoy collaborating with Project Managers and Program Leaders? If so, this job is perfect for you!

The main purpose of this role is to manage projects from a financial perspective, primarily driven by programs that may be funded internally or externally, each with distinct reporting requirements. The role involves supporting other initiatives, such as fundraising projects. You will be acting as both a Controller and Financial collaborating Partner.

The responsibilities include supporting the budget and forecast processes, meeting reporting needs and the enhancement of current reporting methods. The Project Controller is responsible for clearly understanding the status of projects and reporting updates to the Finance Director and Program Managers.

In this role you will:

* Act as independent project controller for of international / transnational campaign projects and other relevant projects;
* Develop new reporting tools, and improve current ones;
* Visualize Project status and development of internal forecasting and reporting processes;
* Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Campaign Leads;
* Coordinate with personnel controlling;
* Create the budget and forecasts with project management;
* Monitor projects and create regular variance analyses;
* Align regularly with project leads (budget holders);
* Prepare ad-hoc evaluations.

What we are looking for :

* Two to three years of knowledge in project controlling in international organizations;
* Proactive stakeholder management;
* Accurate and analytical approach;
* Very good english skills;
* High level of self responsibility;
* High level skills of excel / google sheets;
* Strong communication skills;
* Independent work ( supervision of projects)

This role may be based in one of these regional offices in CEE: Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia. The salary depends on the final location and is based on the organization's salary system. For Austria (with office in Vienna), the gross minimum salary is EUR 3.637,- based on fulltime (40hrs).
