Senior Product Engineer

Operations, full-time, hybrid, Graz

We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring the successful development and production release of our MEMS speaker and audio amplifier products. In this role, you will also serve as a key technical contributor on problem-solving teams, addressing issues related to USound products that may arise during both development and full-scale production, particularly those concerning quality, reliability, or performance.

This position requires direct collaboration with design teams, test development teams, and customers to ensure seamless communication and resolution of technical challenges.

Responsibilities

* Support project teams during the development phase and oversee the design-to-production transfer process
* Optimize wafer-level testing processes and actively drive yield improvement
* Facilitate communication between R&D, production, suppliers, and testing teams
* Particitpate in review meetings, including Design and Test FMEAs
* Support first silicon evalutation and correlate lab measurements with test results
* Manage projects during the production phase, driving cross-functional improvements initiatives
* Support internal and external product qualifications (e.g. AEC-Q100)
* Collaborate with the quality department on field return analysis and reporting
* Conduct or assist in electrical and physical failure analyses
* Evaluate reliability data for new technologies continuously drive improvement of production costs
* Manage overseas suppliers by overseeing relationships with global partners to ensure timely delivery, maintain quality standards, and achieve cost-effective solutions
* Optimize manufacturing processes in collaboration with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements that reduce defects and increase efficiency
* Drive initiatives to reduce cycle time, streamlining production processes to minimize lead times and improve time-to-market

Experience and Qualifications

Must have

* Degree in Electronic Engineering, Semiconductor, Physics or equivalent background
* 5+ Years of work experience required (e.g. Product or Quality / Failure Analysis Engineer)
* Experience with or able to support Test Program development on wafer and device level
* Experience in the field of semiconductor technologies, failure analysis of integrated circuits
* Experience with failure analysis and bench probing techniques (electrical measurement technologies)
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Nice to have

* MEMS experience and/or experience in the field of automative electroncis is a strong plus
* Audio knowledge desired
* Initiative, team oriented
