The Platform and Automation Services department (PAS) is a unit within the division Infrastructure & Cloud which counts responsible for Erste Group infrastructure services. The teams within the department provide Middleware Services, provide Automation- and DevOps-Platforms, manage the Google Cloud Platform for Erste Group and take care of the enterprise-wide IT environment management.

What to do:

* A team dedicated to DevOps practices is taking care of the middleware services such as web- and app-servers and providing the necessary tools and deployment-mechanisms to our application-teams for bare-metal and VM-based workloads alongside a widely used data-transfer service.
* A Cloud engineering team within PAS is operating the GCP foundation for Erste Group and supports application projects on their cloud-journey. It also drives the development of our cloud-ops model in close collaboration with the Azure and AWS platform teams to establish common processes and practices to manage our workloads in the cloud.
* With a focus on network-management and automation, another team is supporting our Datacenter-network team by providing specific monitoring- and automation-solutions and system-integrations into our ITSM-tooling.
* Colleagues from PAS also take care of central test environments and test center for Factory Acceptance Tests of our banking applications.

You check these boxes:

* You are experienced in managing IT infrastructure- and DevOps-teams, preferably in a hybrid or cloud-native environment.
* You demonstrate strong proficiency in IT service management with a deep understanding of (ITIL) processes best practices.
* DevOps or SRE are not just buzzwords for you but a necessity to meet the quality- and velocity-requirements of our business.
* You have experience in the preparation and management of budgets and are familiar with forecasting- and accounting- processes.
* You understand and foster agile principles, helping your teams to grow and succeed in a volatile and complex environment.
* You strive for operational excellence and support your teams to deliver on high standards.
* You embrace new ideas and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
* You build strong relations and foster positive and productive collaborations within the team and across the company.
* You are a good communicator and get your message across. As we are an international company, fluent business English is a must.
