We are looking for someone to fill the following position

Senior UX Designer (m/f/d)

to strengthen our Product & Innovation location in Großhöflein (Burgenland) with immediate effect for 40 hours per week in the Innovation & Digital Product Development Team. From research to launch and continuous improvement, take responsibility for the entire design workflow of existing and future digital products and smart devices according to our corporate and product strategies.

Your tasks

* Collaborate with small internal and larger external development teams, including other UI/UX designers
* Define and conduct user research initiatives to enhance user understanding and shape product requirements
* Develop a brand-new design system for our digital products, including component libraries, rules, semantics, and UX guidelines
* After intensive collaboration sessions with the project team, break down and refine complex design and interaction concepts. Effectively communicate these back to the project team
* Create and refine prototypes to validate concepts. Gather feedback from stakeholders and users to deliver fully validated design solutions
* Prepare detailed interaction and design specifications for the development team
* Participate throughout the development process by providing design support, clarifying specifications, addressing design-related questions, and ensuring the final product aligns with the intended user experience vision

Your profile

* 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
* Proven track record in mobile app design
* Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
* Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and an ability to work iteratively with developers and product managers
* Experience in designing graphical user interfaces using wireframes, mockups and prototypes
* Ability to plan and conduct user research and usability testing
* Experience in moderating & facilitating brainstorming sessions, generating innovative ideas and concepts
* Work effectively in an agile setting, executing key responsibilities during sprints
* Experience mentoring junior UI/UX designers
* Proficiency using prototyping software like Figma and Sketch
* Proficiency using graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Affinity Designer
* Proficiency using UX research tools like Hotjar, Lookback and Maze
* Proficiency using Jira as an agile project management tool
* Excellent written and spoken German and English
