Within the Investment Division Portfolio / Fund managers are responsible for decision-making, implementation, and explanation of portfolio decisions and the investment process leading to them. As a new team member, you will continually build and optimize processes while improve your investment skills. Your tasks

* enhance our investment processes and quantitative decision-making models and tools
* progress and execution of investment strategies, ensuring adherence to a well-functioning investment process
* implement investment decisions across a broad range of instruments across our entire product offering
* creation of pitch documents, media communication, and other publications for both external and internal use
* sharpen your investment skills, including idea generation, analysis, presentation, decision-making, and monitoring to prepare for future leadership roles in investment management
* foster your excellent communication skills in all aspects of investment management, ultimately becoming a client-facing asset for our company

Your background

requirements

* a high level of passion for capital markets and a growth mindset, allowing you to contribute positively to the company's investment initiatives
* minimum 3 years experience in a comparable function
* a person who thrives within a strong team culture and contributes to its continuous improvement
* a thinker outside the box, able to combine street smarts with a curious beginner's mindset, continuously learning and growing
* possess high analytical capabilities and attention to detail, sound programming skills, specifically in R, R Shiny and/or Python, and able to apply quantitative and analytical skills in the workplace
* must be fluent in English, able to communicate effectively with a diverse set of individuals such as clients, stakeholders and team members
* German language skills with at least a B1 level of proficiency, with an aim to improve to a higher proficiency, at a minimum C1 level, within two years
* finance systems experience such as Bloomberg
* strong presentation and communication skills

beneficial, but optional

* University degree with a focus in economics, business administration, business law, accounting, finance or mathematics, physics or life sciences
* understanding of ESG principles and a mindset that aligns with these principles. ready to complete training programs like CEFA, CFA or ESG Investing
