Senior Sales Support Assistant

Full time job 40h/week in Vienna

Job Outline

* Work as link between the sales force and the sales support team to develop and implement strategies and action plans to grow and support sales revenue targets
* Support in handling all communication related activities for our leisure and corporate segments for Austria and Slovakia
* Represent Emirates at sales meetings, customer events and functions
* Prepare visual material for meetings and travel trade events and fairs
* Use all technologies available to spot new sales leads and sales opportunities
* Provide the sales force with account performance reports and point out opportunities and deviations
* Handle various administrative sales-related tasks such as the preparation of sales calls, set-up and handling of customer contracts and databases, customer telephone support, etc.
* Handle sales and reservation related requests
* Seek continuous learning opportunities to anticipate and understand customer needs
* At all times undertake activities in a manner which protects the Emirates Group image, revenue stream and increase sales opportunities

Qualifications/Experience

* Minimum of 2 years work experience or a university degree in business administration/transportation management/tourism/marketing
* Excellent proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word/Powerpoint
* Knowledge of Salesforce and Dotmailer is an advantage
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Skilled use of E-mail, Internet, visual presentation, statistical presentation
* Must be fluent in both written and spoken German and English
