Your tasks

* Develop and improve the classical and future product portfolio according to OMVs product strategy, legal requirements, application and defined product characteristics with focus on sustainability in the field of Bitumen and Residual Fuels.
* Lead and manage technical product development projects and related activities in international and publicly funded / non funded projects with industry partners, Universities and Research Institutes, including time schedule, cost and resource requirements.
* Provide technical input for the selection of crude oils, alternative/renewable components and additives, specifications and standardization for Bitumen & Residual Fuels.
* Support OMV's internal and external customers with technical and application expertise.
* Develop product ideas, analyze product data and -options for technical and/or economical product improvements.
* Provide technical input for the development of analytical test methods (especially rheological and chemical methods to characterize asphalt binder).

Your profile

* You have a master's degree in chemical/ process engineering or a similar field.
* You possess at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the chemical or Bitumen/ Asphalt industry.
* You have experience in project management and good knowledge of IT applications.
* You are highly flexible and result-oriented.
* Your strategic mindset contributes to the transformation strategy of the company.
* You are fluent in both English and German.
