Senior Software Engineer C++ / Qt / MedTech (f/m/d)

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on the challenges of creating complex medical devices.

Responsibilities:

* Develop software for medical devices in C++ utilizing the Qt framework
* Contribute to software architecture design and updates
* Perform functional and unit tests for newly implemented features
* Work closely with the verification team for software integration
* Collaborate with various teams to grasp requirements and ensure smooth integrations
* Ensure adherence to development standards and guidelines based on ISO 62304 (software lifecycle process)
* Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
* Mentor other team members
* Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and adhere to best practices

Requirements:

* Extensive professional experience as a C++ developer
* Proficiency in software development using the Qt framework
* Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
* Sound knowledge of databases, SQL, and unit testing
* Familiarity with version control systems like Git
* Independent, methodical, and structured work approach
* Team player with proficiency in German and English
* Completed specialized education (university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, telematics, biomedical engineering, or related technical fields

Preferred Skills:

* Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jenkins
* Experience in continuous integration and automated testing
* Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
