Head of Finance (m/w/d)

OnTower Austria is a TowerCo, managing almost 4,600 telecommunications locations, which makes it the largest independent operator of telecommunications infrastructure in Austria. The company offers a range of services that create the environment for high-quality transmission of voice, data and audiovisual content.

As the Head of Finance, you will play a vital role in driving the financial success of a fast-growing tower infrastructure business. Based in Vienna, you will oversee all financial functions, lead a finance team of 4-5 colleagues, and ensure the financial health of the company through strategic planning, budgeting and analysis. This role will be pivotal in shaping the financial future of the business, reporting directly to the CEO, and working closely with senior leadership.

Head of Finance

Your responsibilities:

* Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the finance team of 4-5 professionals, ensuring high standards of financial reporting, planning, and control.
* Strategic Partner Management: Continuous collaboration with senior management to understand and improve financial needs of different departments
* Treasury Management: Take full ownership of strategic treasury planning such as cash flow management, liquidity optimization, and funding strategies.
* Management of Accounting (including: operative Treasury, Tax (UGB and IFRS), Statutory Accounts Reporting, external Stakeholder management; Auditors & Tax Advisors)
* Management of Controlling (including: Budgets, forecasts, business cases, ad-hoc analyses and financial reports) to fulfill ad-hoc and recurring financial reporting.
* Management of Post Merger Integration project in selecting an ERP tool, managing transformation process, improving effectiveness & efficiencies of business processes.
* Communication: effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders is critical to ensuring transparency, trust, and alignment with the company's financial strategy and goals.
* Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organization's objectives.
* Experience in working with financial institutions would be an asset
* Coordination of all financial topics with the Corporate finance Team

Your profile:

* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or CFA qualification is highly desirable.
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in infrastructure, telecom, or a similar industry.
* Treasury Experience: Proven experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting, bank relations, and financial risk management.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS and local GAAP), tax regulations, and financial planning tools. Proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems.
* Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
* Language: Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).

* Based on the Telecom collective agreement the minimum wage for this position amounts to 5.006,36 euro. The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience, a willingness to overpay is given.
