Your responsibilities

The Sustainability Office at ISTA is responsible for reporting and driving sustainable projects in campus organization, teaching and outreach. Next to reporting on the environmental footprint of the institute, we also interact with all units on campus to map our environmental footprint and reduce it where possible. We are looking for a motivated intern with great analytical skills and strong interest in the environment and climate to support the dynamic sustainability office with daily operations.

* Analyze the environmental footprint of the campus
* Interact with our scientists and internal stakeholders to promote sustainability
* Optimize data gathering and reporting on environmental issues
* Communicate ongoing projects with staff and students
* Design presentations for the team and management
* Create detailed documentation of environmental data

Your profile

* Ongoing studies in environmental science, controlling or related field
* Strong interest in environmental topics and sustainability
* Excellent Excel and data management skills
* Experience with and/or knowledge of EU-taxonomy and CSRD reporting of advantage
* Understanding of environmental data analysis and/or programming of advantage
* Very good command of English (working language)
* Attention to detail and thorough working style
* Strong communication and organizational skills
