Future areas of responsibility:

* Participation in actuarial reporting, particularly for local accounting (UGB) and reinsurance, but also IFRS and Solvency II
* Support, development, and validation of actuarial, risk-technical, and financial mathematical methods and models; generation, reporting, and analysis of cash flows and key figures using internal models in RAFM
* Actuarial support in projects and close collaboration on various topics with other company departments, e.g., insurance technology, (risk) controlling, and accounting, especially on product-related topics
* Support in profit-sharing proposals as well as assistance with the actuary's report and the report of the actuarial function
* Participation in strategic issues and the planning process
* Ongoing interaction with the actuarial function of Allianz Central Europe Region and Allianz Group, sharing best practices

Our requirements:

* Completed studies in insurance or business mathematics or a business degree with a focus on quantitative finance
* Training as an actuary and certification as a Recognized Actuary in the Actuarial Association of Austria (AVÖ) or comparable membership in another European actuarial association, or currently in actuarial training
* Professional expertise in (life) insurance mathematics
* Excellent knowledge of Solvency II requirements and experience with IFRS 17, Embedded Value, and insurance products
* Experience in actuarial modeling (ideally RAFM/Unify) is an advantage
* Ability and motivation to drive changes and innovations within the organization
* Excellent communication skills in very good German and English

Start date: asap Working hours: 38.5 hours per week Location: ICON Towers - directly at Vienna Central Station, 1100 Vienna

Annual gross salary: 60,000 EUR (willingness to overpay depending on qualifications)
