For our location in Klagenfurt/Austria, which specializes in the development of wind turbines, we are offering the following position:

Software Engineer for Renewable Energies (m/f/d)

Your tasks

* Develop application software tailored for electrical control and power systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
* Design and validate hardware and software systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
* Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning activities both in-house and at customer sites, guaranteeing seamless system functionality.
* Collaborate with internal global teams and external partners to manage work packages effectively within development projects, ensuring timely delivery.
* Prepare detailed technical specifications and documentation in coordination with external partners to maintain project transparency and accuracy.
* Deliver expert training sessions to customers, enhancing their understanding and use of our systems.

Your profile

* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Several years of proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on high-quality solutions.
* Experience in embedded software engineering is highly advantageous.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++ / Matlab/Simulink is essential.
* Familiarity with power converter systems is a plus.
* A customer-orientated mindset with a genuine interest in collaborating with diverse cultures.
* Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
* Willingness to travel internationally for business assignments, up to 10% of the time.
