SAP Basis Administrator - Audit & Compliance (all genders)

Your position
As an SAP Basis Administrator, you will be the primary point of contact for internal and external audits on SAP system security matters. You will take ownership of creating, maintaining, and managing system settings and processes to ensure compliance with audit requirements and IT General Controls (ITGC). In this role, you will oversee SAP system compliance by monitoring controls, developing SAP-specific policies, and analyzing system logs to identify and mitigate potential security and compliance risks. You will also support audit preparation and provide technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Based in Vienna, you will report directly to the Head of SAP Systems as part of the SAP Basis Team.
Your tasks
* Participating in internal and external audits, responding to technical questions and providing SAP-related documentation
* Managing and maintaining SAP Basis controls to meet IT compliance requirements
* Ensuring system settings are aligned with IT General Controls and audit standards
* Developing and maintaining technical documentation related to SAP Basis processes
* Analyzing SAP system logs regularly to detect and resolve potential risks
Your profile
* Communicative, structured, and service-oriented professional with experience in SAP Basis administration
* Knowledge of SAP ABAP, JAVA, and BTP administration, with an understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) in the SAP environment
* Ability to create and manage technical documentation efficiently and support internal and external audits
* Proficient in MS Office tools
* Completed training, preferably in the IT field
Languages: English - Advanced; fluent German - advanced (considered an asset)
Nice to have: Certified SAP Administrator

The annual gross salary for this full-time position starts at EUR54,000.00 with a competitive package based on qualifications, experience, and market values.
