Senior Scrum Master

Immediate start - Vienna FullTime/38,5h

Position Overview

As a Sr Scrum Master, you will take on multiple pods pushing them to be high performing, especially when agile maturity is low. You will guide through ambiguity to help your pods work uninterrupted and deliver moderately complex, loosely scoped solutions that are aligned with the pods goals. In addition, you will deliver projects and initiatives from the Agile Coaching Office's backlog independently or by leading your team-mates to do so.

Position Responsibilities

* Perform as a Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams
* Lead/Participate in quarterly Program Increment planning sessions
* Facilitate road mapping, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and demos
* Drive effective scrum ceremonies including daily standup, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
* Track and distribute relevant metrics and report periodically to show team progress and velocity
* Identify, understand, and track impediments; help remove them and drive improvements to optimize how the team works
* Help the Product Owner manage customer expectations and stakeholder communications
* Act as a liaison between the team and everyone else to minimize interruptions to the sprint, keeping the team focused on delivering a quality product on time
* Ensure cross-team coordination

Position Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields
* 5-7 years of using Scrum agile methodology
* Must be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
* Experience training and managing Scrum teams
* Adaptable and flexible in a cross-functional environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to lead retrospectives, document outcomes, and guide team members in best practices
* Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and coach high-performing software development teams

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously without impact to quality of work.

For your commitment to our team, we offer a gross annual salary starting at EUR 60.000, depending on your qualifications and experience. Overpayment is possible based on individual assessment. On-call services are compensated additionally.
