Vice President Quality Management (f/m/d)

As Vice President Quality Management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring and continuously improving our quality standards. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our quality strategies on a global scale.

Your responsibilities

* Leading the global quality management department and define and execute global quality strategies with gatekeeping mechanisms at every lifecycle stage
* Ensuring an effective, efficient, transparent and independent Group-wide quality management organization that is aligned with market and customer requirements
* Drive the standardization and improvement of quality standards, methods, processes, KPIs, and tools, promoting a quality-driven culture and ensuring key competencies
* Drive the expansion and ongoing enhancement of the integrated Global Palfinger Management System (GPMS), overseeing external certifications (e.g. ISO 9001) as well as global Q/HSE audit activities
* Manage risks through quality gates at each stage, proactively monitor customer feedback, address issues early to prevent defects, and lead product and process quality enhancements throughout the product lifecycle

Your qualifications

* University degree with a focus on quality management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field
* Extensive professional experience of quality management processes, methods, and change management, with expertise in R&D, Operations, and Procurement processes, as well as relevant technical skills, ideally within a matrix organization with lateral leadership.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to drive improvements and strive for the best solution, challenging the status quo
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Fluent in English, German is a plus, and willingness to travel

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 83.651,08 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
