Business Development and Marketing Specialist (m/w/d)

We are hiring a Business Development & Marketing Specialist to increase visibility and awareness within our target community. This role will connect big-pharma & biotech and datavisyn's product development teams, ensuring alignment between market needs and our advanced data visualization solutions. The Business Development & Marketing Specialist will join a collaborative team based in Linz, Austria in a hybrid work environment. Business Development and Marketing Specialist

Full-time/Part-time (30h+) Experienced

Your FUTURE WORKPLACE

* You will be part of an agile and high-performing team, driving strategic initiatives and hands-on growth efforts.
* You will gain a deep understanding of customer needs, and market demands to tailor marketing and business development initiatives.
* You will gather and analyze customer feedback systematically, using these insights together with the product development team to refine our go-to-market strategy.
* You work in a new office building in Linz, Austria.

Your SKILLS

* Formal Education and Experience: Degree and/or professional experience in marketing and/or business development. Familiarity with the biotech, life science, or pharma industry is a plus.
* Strong ability to develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
* Experience in content marketing, digital campaigns, event marketing, and community engagement.
* Proven track record of scaling a software product business, including market positioning, go-to-market strategies, and demand generation - ideally, in a B2B software, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
* Strong storytelling and presentation skills, capable of translating technical topics into compelling messages for diverse audiences.
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Adaptability and Eagerness to Learn: Openness to acquiring new skills and familiarising with innovative tools to drive growth
* Proactive and hands-on approachability to take initiative, solve problems, and drive projects forward independently.
* Language Skills: Excellent command of English; German proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.

The salary is 50,000 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5-hour basis).
